Day 1 (Door to Door)
Arrive Madrid
Enjoy your luxury private car door to door transfer to your departure airport before your scheduled flight to Madrid, where a transfer is provided to your first hotel. This evening we will enjoy a Welcome Drink with our Tour Director and your fellow travelling companions. (WD)

Day 2
Toledo excursion and Madrid sightseeing
After breakfast we drive to Toledo where our guided tour on foot, using our audio system, includes a visit to the Synagogue. We then return to Madrid where our sightseeing tour along the wide tree-lined avenues shows us the Cervantes Memorial in the Plaza de Espana and the Puerta del Sol. We then walk to see the magnificent Plaza Mayor. (BB)

Day 3
Madrid - Cordoba - Seville
First we make a visit to Puerto Lapice of legendary Don Quixote fame before continuing to Cordoba where we visit the Mosque of the Caliphs and learn of the Moorish history of the region. Afterwards we journey to our hotel in Seville. (BB, HD)

Dining Highlights: Tonight we enjoy an authentic tapas dinner in a typical bodega restaurant and learn about the local sherry, manzanillo.
Day 4
Seville sightseeing and at leisure
Today our sightseeing tour takes us through the tree-lined streets of Seville to see the Bell Tower and weather vane of the Giralda. We will also see the pools and fountains of the Maria Luisa Park and Christopher Columbus' tomb before we continue with a walk through the Jewish quarter. Tonight, why not experience a little Spanish passion at a fiery Flamenco show. (BB)

Day 5
Seville - Granada
A scenic drive takes us to Granada to enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, with our audio system, including one of the most important sights in Spain, the Moorish Alhambra Palace. Our guided tour of this magnificent example of Moorish architecture shows us the exotic water gardens of the Generalife, the royal summer residence, where we have fine views over the town and the surrounding hills. Tonight we dine in our hotel. (BB, D)

Day 6
Granada - Valencia
Via the Mora Pass, we soon arrive at the Troglodyte dwellings of Guadix. There is time to take pictures before continuing to Valencia, renowned for its orange groves. Our orientation tour shows us the Bull Ring, the great Cathedral and the Towers of Serrano and Cuarte (BB, D)

Day 7
Valencia - Barcelona
This morning we travel first through the Levant region to Peñiscola to view the ancient castle. Then we continue on to Barcelona where, on arrival, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour, using our audio system, and highlighting the fantasies of Gaudi, the Ramblas and the Plaza Catalunya. We also enjoy a walk through the Gothic quarter with its magnificent Cathedral. (BB)

Day 8
Barcelona at leisure
Today is at leisure for you to explore this fascinating city. Maybe you'll choose to shop in the chic boutiques along Diagonal or perhaps take an excursion to Montserrat. (BB, FD)

Dining Highlights: This evening we enjoy a special Farewell Dinner with wine together with our Tour Director and new found friends.
Day 9 (Door to Door)
Depart Barcelona
After breakfast there's time to bid farewell to fellow travellers as we transfer to the airport for our return scheduled flight back to the UK. On arrival at your UK airport, your driver will greet you and escort you to your waiting luxury private car for your door to door transfer to your home. (BB)

Fountains & Plazas of Madrid with Dinner
This introductory evening tour offers us the chance to admire the elegance of the new city, with its wide, tree-lined avenues and decorative fountains, before we experience the flavour of the old. Join the locals in a little idle chat and "peoplewatching" as they sip an aperitif before dinner in the old quarter of the city, drinks included. Euro 51
Horse Carriage Ride through the City and 'Carmen's Bullring'
We commence our visit with a beautiful horse and carriage ride though the most historical areas of this romantic city as well as sauntering through the Plaza de America. We continue through the Maria-Luisa Park and the Jewish district before stopping at Carmen's bullring to view the arena and visit the bullfight museum. Euro 33
Tapas dinner and Guadalquivir Cruise or Horse and Carriage ride
First we dine on the mouth-watering 'tapas' specialties, so popular in this region of Spain. You will be able to enjoy a myriad of different tastes and wines before continuing to our leisurely cruise along the Guadalquivir River. Alternatively, we will enjoy a gentle and stylish horse and carriage ride through Andalusia's most elegant city with its sparkling illuminations. Euro 46
Excursion to Carmona
The star of Europe. Your chance to branch out from the regular tourist track to visit this white city on the route of Washington Irving. Apart from our fully guided tour of the Roman necropolis, we have the opportunity to visit the Parador which was the old palace of Pedro the Cruel, where we enjoy magnificent views of Andalucia, before continuing on our guided walk. Flamenco Evening
Enjoy a beautiful evening's entertainment in which we will see a varied show of flamenco dancing, Spanish orchestration and the songs of Andalusia. Drink included. Euro 36
Albaicin & Royal Chapel
First a leisurely walking tour through the Albaicin World Heritage Site - maze of narrow streets with whitewashed houses and patio gardens of bygone Moorish splendour. Our tour shows us the Catholic Monarchs' tombs, as well as some of their personal treasures, inside the Royal Chapel. We will end at the very picturesque Alcaiceria quarter, right at the heart of town. Euro 32
Gypsy Night Out
This evening we are taken to the old quarter of Granada, which affords the finest views over the illuminated Alhambra Palace. Here we will enjoy the passionate 'Zambra' dances by Sacromonte's famous gypsies - a fiery emotive performance unique to the gypsies who live in these caves around Granada. One drink is included. Montserrat
Leaving Barcelona we head for the sacred mountain of Catalonia. Ascending this staggering rock formation we admire its spectacular panoramic views before arriving at the 'Basilica Real'. Here newly-weds pledge their vows to the mystical Black Virgin. Euro 35
BARCELONA. Dinner and Illuminations
First we enjoy a typical dinner in this cosmopolitan city, with drinks included, followed by a drive up to Montjuïc for a panoramic view of the city and a tour of the illuminated sights. Euro 47
Pueblo Espanol* & the Picasso Museum or Olympic Stadium
The Spanish village was built for a world fair as a living exhibition of the great buildings and regions of this spectacular country. Our guided visit allows us time to admire and maybe shop for handicrafts in the many artisans workshops. Afterwards, we head downtown to the Picasso Museum. Among the many famous exhibits of Spain's greatest modern painter, we can particularly admire those from his early years. When the museum is closed, we will visit the Olympic Stadium. (*On certain departures the incredible works of Antonio Gaudi in the Guell Park or the Casa Mila will be included instead of the Pueblo Espanol) Euro 35
