Premium Class

On a Premium Class escorted tour you'll be travelling with a smaller, more personal group of like-minded travellers (maximum 40 guests on board) on coaches featuring business-class-like legroom and spacious comfort. And you'll be staying in superior quality hotels in the heart of every destination. We select only premium brands of major hotel groups. Your expert Tour Director will act as your ‘personal concierge' throughout and will be assisted by local guides, passionate on the life and history of their own city. We include many special dining evenings such as authentic local lunches, Highlight Dinners and our unique Dine-Around experiences featuring smallgroup dining at a choice of restaurants.

At Leisure

At Leisure is an inspiring new style of travel offering the best expertly planned escorted tours combined with more opportunity for in-depth, authentic experiences and more freedom to go your own way than ever before. With average hotel stays of two or three nights, spend minimal time unpacking andmore time soaking up the ambience of each amazing place. You'll also enjoy a leisurely start each day with departures never earlier than 9am on travel days. At Leisure provides free time to explore each destination on your own, including complimentary hop-on/hop-off city sightseeing passes where available. Plus you'll enjoy sightseeing in major cities with a local guide assigned to more intimate, split groups of just 12 to 13. 

Premium Gold

Premium Gold features smaller group sizes on tour and includes Premium Highlight sightseeing often including private tours with VIP entrances.

On each itinerary we clearly detail the extensive range of included Sightseeing and Dining Highlights and the services that you will receive when travelling with us. You will also always find the appropriate amount of free time to allow you to explore at leisure.

We know that you expect the essential sights and attractions to be included in your tour price and, unlike some other operators, these are included with us. On tour you will also be able to choose optional highlights that will enable you to customise your tour. And because of our perfectly located hotels you can always be sure that you will be right on the doorstep of the sights and attractions you have travelled to enjoy, rather than having to spend precious time journeying from your base to get to them..

Sightseeing and excursions

Our included programmes of sightseeing highlights, excursions and attraction entrances are designed to fully enhance your touring experience, capturing all the essential stops en route, as well as local gems that only we are aware of, meaning that you won't miss a thing. All the time you will be accompanied by your Tour Director and, where beneficial, a local guide, to offer expert commentaries and entertaining and fascinating insights.

Because of our history of organising tours, we know the best routes to take, not necessarily always following the well-worn tourist tracks, but often venturing ‘off-piste' to make your journey one of discovery and justly rewarding, all the while including some fantastic excursions. In California, for example, take a scenic drive through Napa Valley and enjoy a winery tour and tasting, enjoy a Great Barrier Reef cruise and underwater viewing in a semi-submersible in Australia or get close to nature on an open-vehicle safari in South Africa at Kruger National Park. We also created our exclusive programme of leisurely-paced walking tours designed to show you the ‘Hidden Treasures' of the world's great cities, not normally seen on group tours.

Your Tour Director will also offer you the chance to customise your tour and enjoy some additional excursions and activities, entirely at your discretion, to further enhance your visit. Your Tour Director's knowledge, experience and friendliness will be the success of your Milestones tour. As an historian, guide, interpreter, concierge and, after only a few hours, a good friend, they will take pride in offering you advice on the best places for you to eat, shop and visit in your free time, often recommending hidden gems that only an expert would know to show you. They will assist with all hotel check-ins and make sure that every little detail is catered for.

And to compliment our Tour Directors, sightseeing excursions and city tours are often conducted by qualified local guides who will gladly share their knowledge with you, revealing the colourful history and entertaining anecdotes of the areas that they love and know so well.

Included dining and speciality menus

Every continent and every country has its own distinctive dining traditions and signature dishes and no holiday would be complete without the opportunity for you to enjoy some of these great culinary experiences. We believe that an escorted tour should be as inclusive as possible, but also leave a certain amount of room for you to make your own discoveries. With this in mind we have created perfectly balanced meal plans for each tour. Where possible, and certainly in the vast majority of cases, breakfast is included, as well as a selection of many tempting lunches and dinners.

We also include a range of Highlight Dinners, which feature regional specialities and really typify the local area, as well as convivial Farewell Dinners, where you can say your goodbyes to your travelling companions and new found friends and reminisce about your Milestones tour. On other occasions, we'll leave you free to enjoy your own time and choices and of dining experience. Your Tour Director will always be on hand to make great recommendations about local restaurants.

Our 'Be my Guest' dining experiences give you a unique opportunity to savour authentic home-made foods of a region at exclusive, off-the-beaten-track dining venues. You'll be invited into family homes and working establishments, where you'll meet and interact with your hosts and sample delicious specialities prepared right before your eyes.
