Your holiday begins in true style from the moment we collect you from your front door for a relaxed journey to your choice of departure airport. Your wonderfully appointed executive car is reserved exclusively for your use, ensuring an uninterrupted, hassle-free journey to your departure airport.

Private car transfers for everyone

Each and every Milestones tour begins and ends with our unique and truly unrivalled private car door to door transfer service. You will be met at your front door by your driver who will assist with your bags before whisking you to your choice of departure airport in a private executive saloon car, all in plenty of time to make your way to your check-in desk. With Milestones you really will experience an exclusive service, enjoying your journey in a standard of car that you would expect to associate with Milestones' standards. All of our cars are up-to-date models and maintained to the highest standards. We will arrange a convenient pick-up time from your home that suits you, not us or other passengers. Each car is equipped with the latest satellite navigation intelligence to ensure your continued peace of mind and a speedy journey.

A direct journey to your choice of airport

At Milestones, we believe that your journey to the airport should be as relaxed and as quick as possible. This means that your exclusive door to door transfer service is exactly that - yours - so we won't ask you to literally travel all round the houses making time-consuming stops en-route in order to collect other passengers in your vehicle. We also believe that you should, where it is possible, have the choice of which UK airport you fly from. If, for example, you do not live particularly close to Heathrow or Gatwick and you are able to fly to your final destination from your local airport, then we will do our best to secure those flights for you. Please be aware that this could mean an indirect flight with a change of aircraft in the UK or overseas and flight schedules must allow sufficient time to arrive at the beginning of your tour to meet your fellow passengers and Tour Director. Again, like all other escorted tour operators and because of our relationship with our airline partners, we are able to offer flexibility when organising the flights for your departure. Your Personal Travel Consultant will be happy to offer advice and will always aim to provide flight routes and times that suit you.

For our 2012 departures we are pleased to announce that you can now enjoy our exclusive door to door airport transfers for journeys from your home within 150 miles of your choice of departure airport.

It's only fair... savings if you make your own way

As part of our commitment to exceptional service, we believe that it is only fair that, should you prefer to make your own arrangements to travel to and from your departure airport, for whatever reason, the price of your holiday should be reduced accordingly.Why should you pay the full price for a service that you aren't taking? It is clear that for all touring companies offering this service, the operating costs are built into your holiday price, so shouldn't you be getting something back if you're not using the service?


Should you wish to make your own way to the airport, all you need do is advise your Personal Travel Consultant at the time of making your reservation and your booking invoice will be reduced by £75 per person. Please note that this excludes our UK tours.

Continued exclusive service on your return journey

At the end of your tour, on arrival at your chosen UK airport, you will be greeted by your waiting driver in the arrivals hall and escorted to your car for the smooth and comfortable journey directly back home.

* The private car door to door transfer service is available for all customers, from one address per booking, living in mainland UK within a 150 mile radius of their choice of departure airport travelling in a party of three or less people. For bookings with more than three people, a larger or further vehicles may be necessary and further supplementary charges may apply. For any journeys greater than 150 miles a supplementary cost for additional mileage will apply and will be advised at the time of booking if necessary. Mileage is strictly based on journey information from www.googlemaps.co.uk

When taking the door to door service on our Family Touring Experiences, a larger vehicle may be needed to accommodate all passengers. This will be advised at the time of booking and may be liable to supplementary costs. We cannot guarantee that any of our vehicles will have child-seats available.

At Milestones our objective is to offer complete flexibility when you are choosing your flights. This is why our tour prices do not include the costs of international flights because we believe that you should have your choice from which airport you depart, with which airline you fly and at what time of day. We will still gladly arrange your flights for you as part of your tour package, guaranteeing the very best airfare available at the time of booking.

Fly from your choice of departure airport

When making your booking, your Personal Travel Consultant will discuss with you your best international flight options. Dependant on your final overseas destination we will always strive to secure a flight that suits you, departing when you want from where you want. Most other escorted tour operators will determine for you which flights you will take to join your tour.

We guarantee to offer the very best airfares and routes available at the time of confirming your booking and will give you a quote for that fare in addition to the tour price offering an inclusive package. This means that, should airline schedules allow, you will be able to fly from your local airport. Please be aware that this can, because of airline routings, sometimes involve a change of aircraft either in the UK or overseas.

As you would expect from Milestones' service, we of course include our exclusive door to door airport transfers should you decide to travel from, and live within 150 miles of, your local airport, no matter where you are in the UK.

Flights from your local regional airport may not always be direct and may involve a change of aircraft, either in London or abroad and may be subject to additional costs. All flights from all airports, both internationally and within the UK are subject to availability and the fare in addition to your tour price will be quoted at the time of booking.
