Day 1 (Door to Door)
Arrive Vancouver
Enjoy your luxury private car door to door transfer to your departure airport before your scheduled flight to Vancouver, where a transfer is provided to your first hotel. Your Tour Director is at your hotel this afternoon to greet you and answer any questions. Please join us at 6pm for a Welcome Drink at the hotel.

Day 2
Vancouver sightseeing and at leisure
Our sightseeing tour startswith Chinatown, North America's second largest after San Francisco's. Next is Gastown, with its charming cobbled streets, historic buildings, courtyards and mews, followed by Stanley Park, where we view the famous totem poles and learn about their significance to the aboriginal community. Our last stop is at Robert Held Art Glass where we watch a glass-blowing demonstration. This afternoon is at leisure. (FB, HD)

Day 3
Vancouver - Rocky Mountaineer - Kamloops
All aboard! The next two days are spent on board the Rocky Mountaineer for an unforgettable daylight rail journey through British Columbia and Alberta. We travel through the fertile fields of the Fraser River Valley and alongside the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before entering the Fraser Canyon. Following the Thompson River, we arrive at historic Kamloops for our overnight stay. Please note that RedLeaf customers will require a separate overnight bag for tonight. (CB, L)

Day 4
Kamloops - Rocky Mountaineer - Jasper
Back on board the Rocky Mountaineer, we continue through the impressive landscapes of British Columbia and Alberta to the delightful alpine town of Jasper. After dinner we enjoy a fun and informative lecture by a local expert on the area's abundant wildlife. (CB, L, D)

Day 5
Jasper sightseeing and at leisure
We start the day with a narrated walk along Maligne Canyon, one of the Canadian Rockies' most beautiful gorges with spectacular rock formations and waterfalls. The rest of the day is at leisure in Jasper to enjoy the superb vistas and stroll the quaint streets. Your Tour Director will be happy to help you plan your day. (FB)

Day 6
Jasper - Columbia Icefield - Banff
Another day of breathtaking scenery as we travel along the renowned Icefields Parkway, hailed as one of the world's most scenic drives. We stop at the Columbia Icefield and board an Ice Explorer for an exciting expedition on the massive AthabascaGlacier. More breathtaking scenery awaits as we head south arriving at the quintessential alpine resort of Banff, our home for the next two nights. (FB, D)

Day 7
Banff sightseeing and at leisure
Our sightseeing tour of Banff includes Bow Falls, the classic viewpoint of Surprise Corner along Tunnel Mountain Drive and the wind-shaped hoodoos overlooking Bow Valley. We then board the Banff Gondola for a thrilling ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. Experience a bird's eye view of six mountain ranges from the upper gondola terminal. The afternoon and evening are at leisure. (FB)

Day 8
Banff - Lake Louise - Chase
Our first stop this morning is at stunning Lake Louise where we join a narrated walk along the lakeshore and learn about the history and geography of the area. We then head west and travel through Glacier and Mount Revelstoke National Parks. On arrival at our lakeside lodge we are greeted by a native Elder of the Little Shuswap Indian Band and taken on an interpretive walk through the resort's grounds. (FB, D)

Day 9
Chase - Victoria
Today we travel back to the Pacific Coast, where we cross the Strait of Georgia by ferry, cruising through the Gulf Islands to beautiful Vancouver Island. We then drive on to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, for a two-night stay. Our city orientation tour introduces us to the beautiful Inner Harbour, the ornate Parliament Buildings and Bastion Square. (FB)

Day 10
Victoria sightseeing and at leisure
Start the day with breakfast in the flower-filled conservatory of the Blue Poppy Restaurant at the world famous Butchart Gardens. We learn about the Butchartfamily and the history of these gardens before we explore this 55-acre showcase of wonderful floral displays. The rest of the day is yours to explore this quaint and very 'British' city. Stroll through the flower-filled streets and browse the shops for souvenirs. (FB, FD)

Day 11
Victoria - Depart Vancouver
We head back to the mainland where a complimentary transfer is provided to Vancouver International Airport and your return scheduled flight back to the UK. (FB)

Maligne Lake Boat Cruise
Maligne Lake is Jasper's oldest attraction and one of the most photographed lakes in the world. It is the largest lake in the Canadian Rockies and was known to the Stoney Indians as Chaba Imne-Great Beaver Lake. Our one and a half hour boat cruise will take you past glacier studded mountain peaks to world-famous Spirit Island. Unsurpassed for the scenery it affords, this cruise is also known for its interpretive quality. Bring your cameras and binoculars, this is a true photographer's delight! (This excursion operates early June through September and is subject to weather conditions.)

Jasper Rafting
Enjoy a unique perspective of Jasper National Park on the Athabasca River. This safe, comfortable ride along 16 kilometers (10 miles) of river passes through small sets of rapids and calm stretches for a ride that any first-time rafter will enjoy. Your journey through this route will be narrated by a licensed National Park guide who will point out the natural and human history of Jasper and the famous route that was used by the fur traders many years ago.

Mount Edith Cavell Guided Walk
Join your guide on the "Path of the Glaciers" with Mount Edith Cavell's snow-capped peak towering a mile overhead. See the emerald green of the "Lake of Forgiveness". This is a soft adventure which requires good walking shoes, three hours total. (Seasonal) *Please note: Edith Cavell Road may be unavailable on some departures in the spring. Banff Helicopter 30 Minute Flight -Mt. Assiniboine
This sensational flight will transport you to "The Matterhorn" of the Canadian Rockies, which rises majestically to 3,611 meters (11,870 feet) along the Great Divide. The surrounding glaciers and icefalls will astound you and capture your imagination. This is a photographer's dream come true. An experience you will never forget! Banff Float Trip - One hour
Grab your camera and join us for a marvelously scenic raft ride down Banff's Bow River. Our friendly, experienced oarsmen will guide us gently downstream along the scenic curves and beneath the majestic Rockies for about an hour. Don't worry, we won't get wet! In the past, we've spotted elk, deer and even an occasional bear along the banks. The tranquility of the river makes this one of the best opportunities for an intimate experience with nature at her most magnificent.

This entertaining production will have guests singing along to old favorites and enjoying a good laugh. For dinner, you will be served a delicious three-course meal.

Victoria - Old China Town and Beyond
Travel back in time to Canada's oldest Chinatown. On this three-hour tour, enjoy a great Chinese Meal and up close sightseeing and hands on interaction. The tour guide will meet the coach and provide insightful information about the journey. The tour will stop in Old Chinatown and you will have the opportunity to smell the rich teas, herbs and medicines used even today. Explore Fan Tan Alley, Canada's narrowest street and named after a Chinese gambling game. (There are only 18 stairs, so the walk is generally suitable for all.) Along the way, visit a Chinese Doctor, enjoy Chinese candy and receive a parting memento upon conclusion of the tour. This is a great way to enjoy the little known history of the Chinese in Canada. Victoria - Tally-Ho Sightseeing Carriage Ride

Victoria - Whale Watching Excursion
Board your vessel to enjoy a whale-watching expedition in the waters off Victoria. Spring and summer are the best times of the year to see the resident Orca whales in all their glory, so there's a good chance that you might see those wonderful giants on your comfortable excursion.
