What you will find on tour are fellow passengers from places like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, America and South Africa. And a concern I hear with clients who are looking to take their first tour with us is how will we (being British) get on with other nationalities on tour?
I can safely say that the vast, vast majority of clients who have encountered the mix of nationalities have returned more enriched from the experience. The banter and storey telling between the nationalities on tour is fantastic and you truly come away making lifelong friends from people around the world, some of whom make special trips to visit each other overseas.
It always gives me great pleasure reading feedback form clients who have not just enjoyed their holiday with us but also meeting fellow like-minded passengers from other countries.
"The tour was everything we thought it would be and more... made even better by mixing with other nationalities... The door to door service was excellent... The Tour Director was the most experienced and conscientious we have ever met."
Mr and Mrs Homer, West Midlands - Best of Germany
"Treasures of Turkey was very well planned with a good range of visits and activities nearly all of which were included in the basic price. The booking process, the included airport transfers and the day to day organisation of the Tour Director all were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the high standard of the hotels and the opportunity to spend two weeks in the company of people from various points of the English speaking world."
Mr Moore - Treasures of Turkey
So if you are travelling overseas to experience a new destination and learn about the culture and history, why not experience even more from your fellow passengers and not just someone who lives 20 miles away.
And speaking from experience, getting to know other nationalities can be life changing...after all I married an Aussie! But don't worry I make sure she knows when we beat them at cricket!
