Product :
I thought it was really well planned with an excellent guide. Just as well I went in 2011 since I see the 2012 version has dropped the first part of the tour with the Rhine, Cologne and Hamburg. I liked the ability to opt out of excursions which gave me a full day in both Berlin and Munich. Good balance of things to see but maybe a bit too much emphasis on Nazis. -
Service Rating :
Service from the company itself was fine. However the driver sent to pick me up got lost on the way to Heathrow and it was a good thing I knew the roads well. On return to Heathrow I was not met and had to go home by Underground. -
Response :
At Milestones we really do appreciate all the feedback we get from our clients and we are very pleased to hear that you found your tour to be well planned, with an excellent guide. The guides we use are often a wealth of local knowledge and history.
Your comments about the itinerary itself, will be passed onto our Product team.
I am sorry to hear that you experienced problems with your transfers, I will be looking into this in more detail for you. Very occasionally we get some drivers who are not always familiar with the best local routes and often appreciate the advice from clients who may know a better way.
We always give the supplier a contact number for the client should we have one and we also put the suppliers contact number on your transfer voucher, so if there are any problems or delays on your return, you can contact the supplier directly.
We would like to thank you for choosing to travel with Milestones.
Kind regards,
Debbie Pullum

Product :
Leader always thinking what was best for the very large group. Hotels excellent, though 2 nights in more than 2 cities would have been popular. -
